
After a successful management career in public relations and marketing in the United States and the United Kingdom, Terry joined Cision Canada as president in 2011.
A former executive vice president and chief operating officer at BurrellesLuce from 2006 to 2009, Terry most recently served as CEO of a Toronto company that uses social media, traditional media and viral video to support enterprise public relations, corporate communications and marketing strategies.
A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Terry began his career at Durrants in London, United Kingdom, where he rose from account manager to director of client services. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, the Institute of Public Relations, and the Software & Information Industry Association.Terry is an entrepreneur and an advisor to a numerous social tech startups in Toronto. He is the author of Fender, The Golden Age 1946 – 1970, which chronicles the history of the iconic electric guitar.

Julie has more than 12 years of experience in digital marketing, and her specialties include strategic planning, online communities, social media governance models, reporting and stakeholder management. In 2011, she joined Cision Canada as its social media director with the goals of piloting the company’s social and digital initiatives and establishing its online voice.
A talented evaluator of social marketing programs, Julie uses insightful qualitative and quantitative analysis to guide brand strategy and point of view. She has worked on a variety of medium-to-large digital marketing programs in the broadcast, retail, IT, health, finance, education, automotive and not-for-profit sectors. Julie has played a guiding role in the discussion, development and articulation of a social media vision for enterprise strategists, key marketers and CSR leads associated with the organization. Julie is also a lover of highly caffeinated coffee and quirky Yelp reviews, and she is a self-confessed content gold digger with a passion for the online social space.

Andrew Carlin joined Cision in 2005 and has more than 10 years of marcom, sales and client relations experience in both the U.S. and Canada.
He has a strong understanding of clients’ changing needs, ongoing support and evolving trends within the industry. Prior to joining Cision, Andrew began his career at Edelman, Chicago.
As Vice President of Sales and Client Development, Andrew manages business advancement and all pre and post-sales activities. Previously, Andrew was the Director of Client Development and Support, where he managed and coordinated all support and training initiatives. In addition to business development, he leads the CisionPoint University/College program and speaks at post-secondary institutions across the country.
Andrew’s dedication to the client experience is matched with his involvement as a mo’ bro. He also sits on the executive for “Next Generation”, a Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation initiative focused on what youth can do to help conquer cancer. Andrew has been using KMS hair paste for 15 years- but not the same bottle.

Andrea Sluga, Director of Agency Relations, has strong knowledge of the Canadian PR landscape.
Prior to joining the Cision team, Andrea provided communications strategy & PR support working with industry leaders like Boston Pizza. A top performer with more than eight years of experience, she delivers custom solutions that work for her clients.
In addition to her blackbelt in Scrabble, Andrea is also the unofficial Boggle champion of Toronto.
