CHICAGO, July 10, 2007 – Cision North America today announced that Mike Czlonka has joined the firm as Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, he is responsible for the financial oversight of Cision North America and serving as a key adviser to operating and executive management.
Czlonka is a CPA with more than 25 years of financial management experience with various consumer and business services companies. This includes his most recent position as President and Chief Financial Officer at Proceed Interactive, a leading online marketing and consulting firm specializing in search engine optimization. Prior to Proceed Interactive, Czlonka was Chief Financial Officer at LaPetite Academy, Inc. and Corporate Controller at both Crate&Barrel and Follett Corporation. Earlier in his career he held the role of Director of Finance at the Chicago Sun Times and spent several years working at Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Czlonka earned a BS degree in accounting from Indiana University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He resides in Hinsdale, IL with his wife Nancy and son Michael.
